These are things you can keep in mind if you are new to the industry. We dont claim to be experts on health and diets, but some of the below might be useful to you.
- Diet tips: Try to keep a steady diet in regards to when you eat, you know best when this is for you. But try to keep it consistent and mostly during day/early evening. Eating late at night can stress your body when trying to sleep.
- Sleeping tips: Try to not use tobacco, alcohol, caffeine or ingest other stimulant substances the last hours before going to sleep. We do not encourage drinking alcohol after work, this can mess up your next day and your circadian rythm, which is key to good health.
- Training and movement: The main reason to mention training is not to have you all training, but for you to get up and see the daylight and “priming” your body to be sleepy when finishing a shift. Your work contains alot of movement and lifts. Make sure you lift with good positure. Be mindful of movements you do often, like shaking cocktails which can wear on your shoulders. We reccomend using the spindel mixers where available to alleviate this.
- Mental health: Life can be tough. If you at any point feel like you need to talk to someone like your team mates, manager, verneombud or BHT(BedriftsHelseTjeneste) do it before rather than later.
