Bargruppen encourages bartenders to compete in cocktail and bartending competitions. This overview shows the amount bartenders can receive to participate in national and international finals. A grant application must be submitted to your bar manager before the competition takes place. The Competition grant is intended to cover costs for ingredients, glassware, and equipment. It should also cover expenses such as transportation and meals during the trip, as well as compensate for lost wages and tips. The stipend will be paid as salary on the 15th of the following month. If a national final is held in Bergen, the grant will be reduced by half.

<aside> 📢 Competing bartenders are expected to be active on social media to promote the bar they work in. They are also obliged to follow the guidelines and code of conduct set by the Competition organizer.
