Skilled and motivated bar-teams will create positive reactions ****within the guests, which will make guests return, recommend the experience to their friends and in time become regulars. This is the only way we get more guests which in turn can lead to profit. Profit is everything that is left after the monthly costs of running a business are paid. Profit, or Funds, is the tool we use to invest in concept development & growth as well as culture building & education. When we grow and develop new and existing concepts, we do so to be able to create positive reactions for even more guests. And when we invest in educating our teams, building the culture and the work environment, it’s because we know that skilled & motivated bar-teams cares about its colleagues, the company and about generating positive reactions for the guests.
And so the flywheel turns and gains momentum year after year.
The way we look at it we are in the business of reactions. If we dont generate a reaction within our guests, they don’t care. And why would they spend money on something they don’t care about?
It’s the same with most products and services, the musicians generate reactions with their music, the artist with their art and the author with the book. We do it with our guest experience. And the more positive the reaction the more likely it is that the guests brings a friend and that the friend does the same.
