Online pos is the till system we use in Bargruppen. The main job of the till system is of course to register every sale that is made in the venue. This is very important that you as a bartender become familiar with, and make sure that every sale is punched through the till.
Each bar has its own set up which you will learn from the bar manager, however there are some jobs that we expect all staff to know. The main two things are inputting stock, and doing the cash out, or “oppgjør” at the end of the night. Below is a little “how to” on these jobs.
When we receive any alcohol (beer, wine spirits etc) or any juice or milk etc we must enter it into the system.
Press “Lager”
On the “Fra” menu select “Tillførsel”
After you have inputted the stock select “Bokfør mottagelse"
At the end of every shift we do the “oppgjør”, or cash out. Each bar is slightly different but the step by step system is generally the same.
- Take the “z-rapport” from each of the card terminals. To do this press Menu 7,1,3. This is to be done on EVERY terminal used that shift. If you have a problem printing the rapport, you can do a reprint of the z-rapport by pressing Menu, 5, 3.
- Take out the “Avstemning”. Do this by pressing Menu, 6. Again if you have a problem printing the rapport, you can do a reprint by pressing Menu,5,2.
- Take out the rapport from the till. Do this by pressing “funksjoner” then “utskrift status”
- Print out the beer numbers (this is different bar to bar)
- On each of the z-rapports from the card terminal add together where it says “Herav ekstra”. This is the tips from the terminals. Take this amount out of the till and put it to the side.
- Count the till(s). The till(s) should be 5000kr. Anything over 5000 is the cash sales and is taken out of the till. Fill out a banking bag with the required details (different bar to bar).
- Register the oppgjør on Notion “webform”.

- “Nullstill” the tills. Do this by pressing admin then nullstill kasse. Here you will fill out all the numbers you have just done.
- Staple together the avstemning, z-rapports, signed card receipts, beer numbers and any receipts from things that have been bought and file away.
