Planday tutorials

Bargruppen uses the app Planday to record the hours you are working. Every day you must punch in (stemple inn) when you start, and punch out (stemple ut) when you are finished. If you make a mistake and forget to punch in or out there is a comment section where you can write in your mistake. In Planday you can see your schedule and the bar’s schedule so you know when you are working and who you are working with.

Calling in sick

• If you get sick on the same day that you are on a shift, you have to call in sick to your venue manager. It is not enough to send them a message, you have to call and speak to them. This has to be done as early as possible and no later than 4 hours before your shift starts. Sick leaves that are not in accordance with this, will not be approved.
• The first day after being sick you have to fill in your “egenmelding”-form. They will be available at your bar. You will not get paid for the shift(s) if we don’t have the form by the 2nd of the following month.

Planday can be downloaded to your phone, both iPhone and Android. Use the portal address bargruppen.planday.com and your username and password to log in. You can also request days off, both in the app or online. This must be done in advance, and at the latest within the 10th each month. If you do not have a smartphone/lose your phone/forget your phone you can always use the iPads that are in each one of the Bargruppen bars.

Scheduling

• All your availability for the next month must be put in to Planday no later than the 10th of the current month. (Your wish for November must be put in to Planday by the 10th of October)
• The schedules for all venues for the next month will be visible on the 15th of the current month.
• Any questions or concerns regarding scheduling can be conveyed to your manager.

Bank holidays/ Red days payment

The advantage of working on public holidays is that you receive 100% extra pay.

The days we offer extra payment for work are listed in the image below.

The extra pay follows the date of the holiday itself, not the shift.

For example:

Constitution Day: Working between 20:00 and 03:30

In this case, extra pay applies only between 20:00 and 00:00.
